Dollar Holds at Rs278 in Open Market as Pound, Euro Stay Above Rs372 and Rs322

KARACHI: The US dollar was quoted at Rs278.20 for selling in Pakistan’s open market on Wednesday, while the British pound was sold at Rs372.20 and the euro at Rs322.35, according to forex rates updated at 11:05 am on September 30, 2026.

The buying rate of the US dollar was Rs278.00, while its selling rate was Rs278.20 in the open market.

The British pound had a buying rate of Rs366.93 and a selling rate of Rs372.20, while the euro had a buying rate of Rs316.50 and a selling rate of Rs322.35.

The Saudi riyal had a buying rate of Rs74.05 and a selling rate of Rs74.60, while the UAE dirham had a buying rate of Rs75.70 and a selling rate of Rs76.55.

The Canadian dollar had a buying rate of Rs194.19 and a selling rate of Rs200.95, while the Australian dollar had a buying rate of Rs192.22 and a selling rate of Rs198.05.

The Chinese yuan had a buying rate of Rs38.30 and a selling rate of Rs38.92, while the Japanese yen had a buying rate of Rs1.7342 and a selling rate of Rs1.8339.

Interbank Market Rates
In the interbank market, the US dollar had a bank buying rate of Rs277.00 and a bank selling rate of Rs277.50.

The British pound had a bank buying rate of Rs366.38 and a bank selling rate of Rs367.04, while the euro had a bank buying rate of Rs313.92 and a bank selling rate of Rs314.49.

The Saudi riyal had a bank buying rate of Rs73.74 and a bank selling rate of Rs73.87, while the UAE dirham had a bank buying rate of Rs75.70 and a bank selling rate of Rs76.55.

The Australian dollar had a bank buying rate of Rs193.05 and a bank selling rate of Rs193.40, while the Canadian dollar had a bank buying rate of Rs195.12 and a bank selling rate of Rs195.47.

The Chinese yuan had a bank buying rate of Rs41.31 and a bank selling rate of Rs41.38, while the Japanese yen had a bank buying rate of Rs1.7660 and a bank selling rate of Rs1.7691.

Among other currencies, the Swiss franc had a bank buying rate of Rs332.01 and a bank selling rate of Rs332.61, while the Singapore dollar had a bank buying rate of Rs216.77 and a bank selling rate of Rs217.17.

The Hong Kong dollar had a bank buying rate of Rs35.30 and a bank selling rate of Rs35.37. The Swedish krona had a bank buying rate of Rs27.71 and a bank selling rate of Rs27.76, while the Thai baht had a bank buying rate of Rs8.25 and a bank selling rate of Rs8.26.
