ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has declared a warning message circulating on social media about phone number 7080507-051 fake and misleading.
The PTA said it had not issued any warning about the number. The viral message claimed that answering a call from the number for a few seconds could lead to the theft of mobile account details and personal information.
The PTA urged citizens not to trust or forward unverified messages and advised them to rely on its official social media accounts for accurate and updated information.
