LAHORE: The Children’s Hospital Lahore burn unit has been established as Punjab’s first dedicated facility for pediatric burn victims.

The provincial government’s health department set up the facility on the upper floor of the existing diagnostic block. This new unit will provide specialized treatment to children suffering from burn injuries across Punjab.

Burn unit equipped with 30 beds

The hospital administration confirmed the unit features 30 beds in total. It includes 8 ICU beds for critical cases and 3 modern operation theatres for complex surgeries. The facility aims to reduce the burden on general burn wards.
