The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) continued to witness selling pressure as the benchmark KSE-100 Index dropped nearly 800 points on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, international oil prices edged lower on Tuesday, extending losses from the previous session as investors awaited clearer indications regarding the restoration of crude shipments through the Strait of Hormuz following peace talks between the United States and Iran.
Brent crude futures fell by 20 cents, or 0.3%, to $77.70 per barrel, while US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude declined by 12 cents, or 0.2%, to $73.74 per barrel as of 0323 GMT.
On the domestic front, the National Assembly passed the Finance Bill 2026 for fiscal year 2026-27 on Tuesday, incorporating several amendments with the backing of coalition partners.
