Fortunately, the aircraft was safely landed at Islamabad Airport and all passengers are safe.

PIA spokesperson confirmed the technical fault in the aircraft and said that a detailed technical inspection of the aircraft is being carried out by engineers to ensure the safety of passengers.

According to the spokesperson, after alternative arrangements this flight (PK309) will now depart for Karachi again at 1:20 AM at night.
