K-Electric has released a detailed schedule of planned maintenance-related power shutdowns set to affect dozens of feeders across Karachi on Thursday, May 8, 2026.

According to the utility company, the temporary outages are part of routine maintenance and upgrade work aimed at improving the stability and reliability of the city’s electricity network.

The scheduled shutdowns will impact several residential, commercial and industrial areas, with power suspensions beginning as early as 7:59am and continuing until 7:00pm in certain localities.
