KARACHI: K-Electric has issued a schedule for temporary power outages in several areas of Karachi for September 15, 2026.
According to the schedule, electricity supply will be suspended at different times in a number of feeders across the city.
The listed feeders include Aga Khan Trust, Al Kafla Bank, Ambaji Villa RMU, Arsalan Homes, Asghar Ali Shah, Bina Palace, Barnes Street, Burma Oil, Chinchari RMU, Creek Club, Delhi Mercantile, Dua Chowk RMU, Gul Telephone Exchange, Ibrahim Nafees RMU, Ideal Bakery, Ittehad Cottage Industry, Jam Khan, Kamran Distributor, Kashmir Colony RMU, Khalid Commercial and K.H. Abbasi, among others.
The schedule also includes King Hatchery, Knowledge School, Malir Colony C, Medico RMU, Mehboob Chamber, Minister Residency, Muneeb Kamil (Custom Society), Murtaza Commercial-23, Nucleus House RMU, PARCO IV, PEPCO, Pole-5 RMU, Riyaz Hotel RMU, SD Houses, Security Printing-I, Sony Resort RMU, Sunlay Developers, Tariq Commercial S/S-37, Teachers Society and Zaki Cottages/Old Saima Arabian Villas-2.
The duration of the outages varies from area to area. According to the schedule, power interruptions on some feeders may begin at 7:59 a.m. or 8:00 a.m. and continue until 5:59 p.m. or 6:00 p.m., while some areas are expected to experience shorter interruptions.
K-Electric has advised consumers to review the outage timings for their respective feeders and make the necessary arrangements accordingly.
