The Pakistani rupee posted a slight appreciation against the US dollar in the interbank market on Monday. The local currency closed at 279.85, marking a marginal gain of Re0.01 compared to the previous session. On Friday, the rupee had settled at 279.86.
In the open market, the rupee was being traded at 282.55 against the dollar.
