ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan would reach to Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) on Wednesday, today to visit areas seriously affected by increasing land sliding and heavy snowfall.
According to the sources, Prime Minister Imran Khan would arrive at Azad Jammu and Kashmir at 11:30 a.m. to personally observe humanitarian work in snow-covered areas, while Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit Baltistan Ali Amin Gandapur will join the Prime Minister during the tour.

Sources further stated that Prime Minister Imran Khan would also interact with affected families by land sliding and heavy snowfall in the AJK.
Earlier on Tuesday, Prime Minister Imran Khan has directed to immediately provide all humanitarian assistance on an emergency basis to the people affected by landslide in Azad Jammu and Kashmir.

In a tweet on Tuesday, the prime minister asked National Disaster Management Authority, the military and all federal ministers to take timely actions in this regard. He said the severe snowfalls and landslides in Azad Jammu and Kashmir have caused misery and deaths.
