Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has approved the launch of the Ehsaas e-Pension System.

According to government officials, the e-pension system will come into effect from January 1, 2026, after which all pension payments will be processed through the new digital system.

The initiative aims to replace the existing pension mechanism with a fully paperless process, along with the introduction of the Ehsaas Pension Dashboard.

Officials stated that six months before retirement, employees will be able to submit their pension case through a simplified digital form available on the portal.

Supporting documents can be securely scanned and uploaded, after which the system will automatically generate time-bound tasks for the relevant authorities.

The entire verification and approval process will also be conducted digitally. All pension orders will carry legally valid digital signatures, and the system will be integrated with NADRA, the Accountant General’s Office, and banks.

Through this system, pensions will be transferred directly to retirees’ bank accounts within the stipulated time.

On the occasion, CM Gandapur remarked that retirees will no longer have to make repeated visits to offices for their pensions. He said the system would ensure transparency, accountability, and efficiency.

He further noted that so far, 36 different public services in the province have already been digitized.
