KARACHI: Blazes that erupted at a towel factory in New Karachi area of the metropolis, has been doused on Friday after five hours with the help of 10 fire tenders.
According to fire brigade officials, the sudden blaze erupted at a towel factory in New Karachi was controlled by the firefighters with the help of five fire brigade vehicles.
The officials said the cause behind the incident could not be ascertained yet, adding that the process of cooling is currently underway at the factory. Soon after the incident, an emergency was declared at the NIPA Water hydrant. No human loss was reported.
An official of fire brigade department told An intense fire broke out in the factory in New Karachi early Friday morning, with no casualties reported so far. With five fire tenders, the firefighters are busy for the last few hours in dousing the flames and bring the flames under control.
