Field Marshal vows swift justice for innocent Pakistani bloodshed

Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir has said that the blood of every innocent Pakistani will be avenged, and every attempt to damage Pakistan’s stability will be met with an immediate and decisive response.

According to the Pakistan Army’s media wing (ISPR), Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir visited the Corps Headquarters in Peshawar, where he was briefed on the security situation and counter-terrorism operations.

ISPR stated that the Field Marshal attended the funeral prayers of the martyrs of the Bannu garrison incident and visited the injured at Bannu CMH.

The Field Marshal paid tribute to the unwavering morale and courage of the security forces and stated that the Pakistani nation is united to confront terrorism until its complete eradication. All facilitators, supporters, and criminals associated with terrorists will be relentlessly pursued.

He said that terrorists and their facilitators will be brought to justice at all costs, and the true face of terrorism in the region will be exposed before the entire world.

The Field Marshal said that the blood of every innocent Pakistani will be avenged, and every attempt to damage Pakistan’s stability will be met with an immediate and decisive response.

According to ISPR, the Field Marshal emphasized the need to enhance the capacity of civilian law enforcement agencies, particularly the institutional capacity of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police, and urged the relevant government institutions to take immediate and priority measures in this regard.

The Field Marshal reaffirmed the army’s support in strengthening the capacity of law enforcement agencies.

It is to be noted that in the Mir Ali area of North Waziristan, an attack on a security forces convoy resulted in the martyrdom of 13 soldiers, while in the exchange of fire, security forces killed 14 Khawarij.
