KARACHI: The Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) has called on Sunday an emergency meeting of the party’s Central Executive Committee (CEC).
The meeting will be headed by PPP co-chairmen Asif Ali Zardari and Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, and attended by senior party leaders including Senator Sherry Rehman, Nayyar Bokhari, Faryal Talpur, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, Syed Qaim Ali Shah, and other top party leaders.

The party called the Central Executive Committee (CEC) conference in Karachi on Sunday at 4:00 p.m., where the top leaders would meet to discuss the country’s key issues.
Earlier that day, PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said he was satisfied that all parties were unanimous that the bill on the extension of Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa would go back to the National Assembly and Senate bodies for consideration.
