In a significant development, the Sindh government has raised the age limit for new employees by two years, increasing it from 28 to 30 years for specific positions within the province. The decision applies to new recruitments for the roles of Monitoring Officer and Early Childhood Teacher, as announced by the Sindh Education Department.

According to a formal notification issued by the department, the age relaxation is aimed at broadening opportunities for potential candidates and ensuring that more individuals can apply for these vital roles. The recruitment process for both positions has already begun, with applications being accepted for those up to the age of 30.

This move comes after a legal challenge to the previously set age limit. Initially, the Sindh government had set the age cap at 43 years for these roles, but the court annulled that decision, reinstating the previous age limit of 28 years. With this latest amendment, the government has now restored a more inclusive approach, allowing candidates up to 30 years of age to apply.

The extended age limit is expected to benefit a large number of qualified individuals who may have missed out under the former guidelines. It also underscores the Sindh government’s commitment to providing equal employment opportunities while addressing the evolving needs of the education sector.

Candidates interested in the roles of Monitoring Officer and Early Childhood Teacher are encouraged to apply within the updated age parameters, as the hiring process continues in the province.
