KARACHI: Senior journalist and professor Inam Bari has passed away in Sindh’s capital due to kidney failure.
Born in Karachi, Professor Inam Bari was a former professor at a university’s mass communication department. During his life, he also served as the chairperson of Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority Sindh’s Council of Complaints.
He taught other courses like Media Law and Ethics, Development Support Communication and Mass Media and Society, etc. He also served as Vice Chancellor’s Advisor on Information and Media affairs from 1995 to 2008, and rejoined as Adjunct Professor after retirement till June 2009.
