Two armed suspects robbed a female teacher in front of a government school in Karachi’s Shah Faisal Colony in broad daylight, escaping after the crime.
The incident, which occurred two days ago in Natha Khan Goth, was captured on CCTV footage circulating on social media.
The footage shows two helmeted suspects on a motorcycle approaching the teacher at gunpoint. They forcibly took her purse and other belongings before fleeing. During the robbery, some bystanders attempted to intervene, but one of the suspects, seated on the motorcycle, fired shots to protect his accomplice, creating panic and chaos.
The suspects escaped while firing, causing a stampede among bystanders, including schoolgirls and women in uniform present at the scene.
In a separate incident, armed robbers snatched Rs 5.5 million from an Easypaisa shop owner within the jurisdiction of Karachi’s Quaidabad police station. According to CCTV footage, two helmeted robbers held the shop owner at gunpoint, took a cash-filled bag, and fled on a motorcycle.
The shop owner, Rashid, reported to the police that he was carrying Rs 3.5 million in his pockets and Rs 5.5 million in the bag while en route to deposit the money at his office. The robbers escaped with the bag containing Rs 5.5 million.
