Karachi police have arrested a man for allegedly committing immoral acts with the body of a woman inside her grave.
According to media reports, the arrest took place at Bagh-e-Korangi graveyard, located in the Korangi area of the city. The reports indicate that the man had dug up the woman’s grave and engaged in immoral acts with the deceased. He was apprehended by residents while he was covering the grave after the acts.
The accused was initially subjected to severe beating by the residents before being handed over to the Awami Colony police station. It is reported that the woman had been buried 10 to 12 days prior. The police have launched a further investigation into the incident.

Crime reporter Tahir Abbas, speaking to a TV channel, identified the accused as Salman Waheed. Abbas revealed that Waheed had been arrested in the past under similar allegations.
Abbas noted that while Karachi has seen many heinous crimes, this particular incident has shocked everyone, including the police officers who responded to the scene. He added that the accused had been viewing disturbing videos of similar incidents on social media, which he believes led him to commit this crime. Abbas also mentioned that Waheed had been engaging in these acts with the deceased woman for the past 10 to 12 days.
