In yet another distressing incident, a woman in Karachi fell victim to sexual harassment in broad daylight, adding to a string of concerning events in Pakistan’s largest city.
According to police officials, the incident occurred in the Pak Colony locality, where a man harassed the woman before swiftly fleeing the scene.
Footage captured by CCTV cameras depicts the woman walking along the street when the perpetrator approached her from behind and forcibly grabbed her. Despite the ensuing commotion, the assailant managed to escape, leaving the victim shaken and vulnerable.
The clarity of the CCTV footage has enabled local TV channels to broadcast the incident, providing a clear view of the perpetrator’s face. Law enforcement authorities have taken a suspect into custody based on suspicion, although the victim has yet to formally file a complaint.
