Ira Khan, Aamir Khan’s daughter officially tied the knot with Nupur Shikhare in an intimate wedding last evening which irked many social media users, not because of the wedding but because of the groom’s choice of clothing.
The groom aka Nupur was seen donned in his gym wear while he signed his marriage document. Earlier that day, he was seen jogging from Santacruz in Mumbai to Bandra, which amounts to almost 8 km, to marry his bride Ira.
The unique way of Nupur jogging in athleisure outfits to reach the wedding venue went viral. He even attended and registered his wedding wearing his gym track.
The couple registered their marriage at Taj Ends in the presence of family and friends on January 3. The simple wedding was followed by a reception for limited guests.
A grand wedding has been planned in Udaipur on January 8. The couple, along with their families, will head to Udaipur soon. A reception will also be hosted for their industry friends.
