At Islamabad International Airport, a female official of the Civil Aviation Authority found missing belongings of a female traveler.
Upon arriving at the Domestic Lounge for family travelers flying from Karachi, the female passenger forgot her bag in the Level Two Change Room. When the duty attendant, Sobia, noticed the unattended bag, she took it into protective custody and handed it over to the terminal manager.
During the search of the bag, it was found to contain items worth 4 million Pakistani Rupees, 110 British Pounds, cash exceeding 22,000 Rupees, 10 tolas of gold jewelry, two mobile phones, and a Lady Swiss watch.
Later, all recovered items were collected in the Lost and Found section. When the female traveler realized her bag was missing, she contacted the relevant department of the Civil Aviation Authority.
Following necessary legal procedures, the bag and its contents were returned to the owner. The woman expressed her gratitude to the CAA upon receiving her bag.
In addition, Airport Manager Syed Aftab Gillani praised the honesty of the female official Sobia Asif, presenting her with a certificate of appreciation and a reward of 25,000 Rupees.
