The accused involved in blackmailing women in the modeling industry, using their absence pictures, has been arrested. The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has seized explicit images and videos from the accused’s possession.
According to details, the FIA’s Cyber Crime Circle arrested the accused, Daniyal Mukhtar, from Adiala Road, Rawalpindi, on charges of involvement in crimes such as sexual harassment and blackmailing in the modeling industry. A case has been registered against the accused.
According to the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), the accused Daniyal had been using fake advertisements on classified websites, posing as the owner of a modeling agency. He attempted to lure women aspiring to work as models into his trap by pretending to offer them employment.
The FIA stated that the accused had demanded objectionable images and videos from multiple women under the pretext of employment. Subsequently, Daniyal Mokhtar continued to harass and blackmail women through the distribution of these images, leading to an ongoing investigation into his crimes.
It’s worth noting that alongside rising inflation, unemployment rates in Pakistan are also increasing. In such circumstances, individuals seeking employment often use newspapers, TV, and online websites, including OLX, to search for jobs.
