ISLAMABAD: A special court will announce the verdict in the high treason case against former president Pervez Musharraf on 17th December.
Earlier in the week, the Islamabad High Court (IHC) ruled that its order of stopping the special court from announcing its verdict in the treason case was binding on the special court regardless of the fact that it comprises three high court judges.
In the previous hearing of the case in the special court, the bench acknowledged the receipt of a short order of the IHC dated on 27th November in which the special court was restrained from announcing its verdict in the treason trial.
