Singer Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner are heading for a divorce after four years of marriage.
Joe Jonas has retained a divorce lawyer after separating from Sophie Turner, an entertainment media outlet has reported.
The couple has been bogged by serious problems for the past half year and found the solution to end thorny issues in separation. Joe is currently on tour with his Jonas brothers, but at the same time, has custody of his kids.
Despite Turner being spotted at the band’s tour opening night last month, the couple have not been photographed together in public for months. They have also sold their Miami mansion after purchasing it last year.
Jonas, 34, and Turner, 27, walked down the aisle twice — once in Las Vegas and then again in France — and are the parents to two children together.
The Game of Thrones actress and Jonas Brothers musician first connected in 2016. Jonas invited Turner to hang out while his tour was passing through the UK.
In 2017, Jonas asked Turner for her hand in marriage.The couple received an outpouring of support from their famous friends and family, including Jonas’ brother, Nick Jonas who is married to Bollywood star Priyanka Chopra.
Jonas and Turner then tied the knot in a surprise ceremony in Las Vegas, and later at a lavish affair in the French countryside.
In 2020, the couple welcomed their first child, daughter Willa, and then welcomed their second child in July 2022. “
Earlier this year, Turner showed her support for Jonas when she attended a ceremony honouring the Jonas Brothers with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
