Things aren’t good

Shahid Shahnawaz by Shahid Shahnawaz

The most important people in any political party are its leaders and the MLAs or ministers who carry the party forward with the certificate of public support after winning the elections.

Workers are like tissue papers that are used up and thrown away. If they fall ill, before going to visit them, political leaders wonder if the media will like to cover it.

It is the media that starts portraying a leader as a total jackass and any unimportant person as a political leader who may have his own agenda behind it. Undoubtedly, journalism is the name of conveying the truth to the people, but it is rarely implemented.

There are very few media channels or journalists who speak the truth even in this day and age, most are more concerned about their ratings and the millions of crores of advertising they get from the government, and why not? Media has become the name of business, not of conveying news.

Sheikh Rasheed said that August 13 is the red line to break the assembly, otherwise, the crisis will be serious. Turkey held an election despite the economic disaster, after which the situation improved. The only thing that can be said about this is that according to the Pakistani government, the situation is fine with us, although who does not know that the situation is not fine?

The government says that there is not only peace and harmony in the four provinces of the country, but there is also a possibility of getting the next loan installment from the IMF this month. Like Turkey, the situation in Pakistan is also good.

Only when we see a burning stove in a poor person’s house or when we see someone wearing inappropriate clothes due to inflation. When we hear the news of a youth committing suicide due to unemployment, we have to say that all is not well.

When countless other incidents attract our attention, it has to be said that the reports of the economic problems of the time government being solved are not true. Many steps are required to set the situation in the right direction.

Our country needs all those young people who leave their country in millions every year to reach other countries through legal or illegal means in search of a better future in other countries.

It is necessary that the government of the time also examines these facts and formulates a workable strategy for the construction and development of the country.
