ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister Javed Latif has accused PTI Chairman Imran Khan of plotting the recent violent acts in the country, including the attack on Jinnah House in Lahore.
Addressing a news conference in Islamabad on Saturday, he claimed that the PTI Chairman wanted to undermine state institutions and was responsible for the trained miscreants who vandalized public and private property.
“We are organizing gatherings and corner meetings from tomorrow to expose the face of Imran Khan,” Javed Latif said. He also expressed regret that a person who has been accused of corruption worth sixty billion rupees is being given respect by courts.
Javed Latif emphasized that those who attacked military installations and ransacked other buildings, including that of Radio Pakistan Peshawar, need to be held accountable as per the law. He further stated that such violent acts are tantamount to “a mutiny against the state” and should be treated as such.
