A hunger strike camp has been set up by the PTI workers in Zaman Park over the issue of “unfair distribution of the party tickets” for the Punjab elections.
The workers of PP 141 displayed banners over the camp inscribed with their demands.
Slogans of disapproval of imported candidates were written on the banners. “We have been with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf since 2009, the ticket is our right.”
The workers demanded that they should be given attention regarding ticket distribution, otherwise, they would continue hunger strike till their last breath.
The protesters also stopped Fawad Chaudhry’s car while leaving Zaman Park. He assured them that their demands would be conveyed to PTI Chairman Imran Khan.
There is a clear split in the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) over the issue of distribution of party tickets.
