Ex-army chief’s statement was taken out of context: ISPR

RAWALPINDI: The Public Relations Department of the Pakistan Army (ISPR) has said that the former Army Chief’s statement on the threat to Pakistan’s future was presented out of context.

The ISPR has expressed its reaction to the comments regarding the statement of the former army chief. The statement issued by the ISPR said that the former army chief’s statement on the threat to Pakistan’s future was presented out of context.

According to ISPR, there was a discussion in the media about the war preparations of the Pakistan Army, these discussions took place in the context of the interview of the former army chief.

ISPR said that the Pakistan Army has always prided itself on its operational readiness and extreme combat capability and will continue to do so. The Army is always ready to defend the motherland. Abundant human resource is always ready.
