ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Capital Territory Police on Tuesday appointed Pakistan speedster, Haris Rauf, as their honorary Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP). For this appointment, a ceremony was held by ICT in Islamabad, in which the pacer was formally dressed in police uniform and ranks were also installed.

It may be mentioned here that Haris Rauf has taken 72 T20I wickets and 30 ODIs wickets for Pakistan. He was recently spotted at the Wagah Border with the PSL 8 Trophy, which he won with Lahore Qalandars.

It may be recalled here that earlier this year, Naseem Shah was also appointed as the Goodwill Ambassador of Balochistan Police.

The police department of Balochistan too gave Naseem the DSP rank in the function that took place at the IG Balochistan Police Office, Quetta.
