LAHORE: The supremo of Pakistan Muslim League-N (PMLN) Nawaz Sharif has instructed party leaders and officials to intensify campaign for elections in Punjab which are set to take place on April 30.

According to Lahore-based media report, Nawaz Sharif while addressing party leaders and officials via video link underlined the need to speed up election campaign, adding that Punjab Assembly tickets would be given to party loyalists and strong candidates in their constituencies.
He reportedly emphasised the need to free the country of what he called “temptations” like Khan and to expose the irregularities and poor judgement of the previous PTI-led government.
He also urged party leaders to work together to expose the elements creating chaos in the country and bring about a positive change.
