QUETTA – Iftikhar Ahmed has hit six sixes in an over as Quetta Gladiators set Peshawar Zalmi a target of 185 on Sunday while playing in an exhibition game in Quetta.
Quetta Gladiator’s Iftikhar Ahmed scored an impressive fifty and held the Gladiator’s inning together.

Iftikhar Ahmed hit Wahab Riaz for six sixes in the final over of the innings to ensure that Quetta finished with a high score. The right-hand batter remained unbeaten on 94 runs in 50 balls.
Zalmi’s captain Babar Azam had won the toss and chose to bowl first.
Ahsan Ali and Umar Akmal were dismissed by Wahab Riaz in the second over of the innings, giving Zalmi the perfect start. Quetta responded in the middle of the innings, though, to record a score that was competitive. Riaz took three wickets but gave up 47 runs in all four of his allotted overs.
Khushdil Shah, batting in the middle order, scored 36 runs in 24 balls, while Abdul Wahid Bangalzai, the first hitter, scored 28 runs in 19.
Sarfaraz Ahmed, the skipper of Quetta, only managed to hit four runs before being bowled by Aamer Jamal.
