WAZIRAZAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf MNA Alamgir Khan has denied the involvement of his guard in the attack on party chairman Imran Khan.
In his video statement soon after the attack, Alamir Khan said he along with the party leaders reached Wazirabad from Karachi to join the march. He was accompanied by a guard of a private company, Muhammad Punhal Khan.
Due to the rush of the crowd, he was left behind and after the incident people ambushed him and he was also named in the attack by the police.
He also ruled out the claims of interior minister Rana Sanaullah.
He ruled out any of his or his guard’s involvement in the case and said all happened due to confusion.

The PTI chairman was shot on Thursday when his anti-government protest convoy came under attack in the east of the country in what was said to be a clear assassination attempt.
Several others in the convoy were wounded and the information minister said a suspect had been arrested. One party member said there were reports one person had been killed.
