Kanye West recently made headlines after the US rapper bullied Vogue editor Gabriella Karefa-Johnson for criticizing his ‘White Lives Matter’ T-shirt.
His action was not well received by many including Gigi Hadid who called Kanye West a ‘bully’ for attacking a fashion journalist on Instagram.
Kanye West and Vogue editor rift
Kanye West and wore a ‘White Lives Matter’ shirt at Paris Fashion Week during the unveiling of his latest fashion line which did not go over well with pretty much anyone — including Vogue editor Gabriella Karefa-Johnson, who voiced her criticisms on Instagram.

“It didn’t land and it was deeply offensive, violent, and dangerous,” she wrote in a series of Instagram story slides, “The idea that white supremacy is in danger of extinction is what justifies mass incarceration, murder en masse, indeed the advent of slavery,” she wrote in one of the conversations. “The idea that Blackness must be snuffed out for it will supercede whiteness in power and influence if given the chance. And it’s so hugely irresponsible to furnish the most dangerous extremists with this kind of fictional narrative.”
Gigi Hadid bashes Kanye West
In the comments section of one of Kanye’s posts, Gigi Hadid came to Gabriella’s defense. “You wish u had a percentage of her intellect.”
“If there’s actually a point to any of your shit she might be the only person that could save u. As if the ‘honor’ of being invited to your show should keep someone from giving their opinion…? Lol.”
Gigi concluded her comment by calling Kanye a “bully” and a “joke.” Damn. Can’t argue with that!
West’s response
As expected, Kanye could not stop himself indulging into new war of words and responded to the 27-year-old supermodel in his famous style on Instagram.
Kim Kardashian’s ex wrote: “I WONDER WHAT GIGI AND VENUS’S PERESPECTIVES WERE WHEN I DIDN’T KNOW WHERE MY CHILD WAS ON HER BIRTHDAY.”
