ISLAMABAD: Around 750 new cases of coronavirus have been reported across the country, while two more citizens have died due to the deadly virus in the last 24 hours.
According to the statistics released by the National Institute of Health, a total of 15,57,884 people have been affected by coronavirus, while 30,505 have died due to the virus. The mortality rate remains at 2 percent.
In the last 1 day, 20,854 tests were conducted for the diagnosis of coronavirus, while the ratio of positive cases was 3.60 percent. The total number of tests was 2,96,72,331 while 164 coronavirus patients are in intensive care.

During the last 24 hours, 552 patients have defeated coronavirus across the country, by which the number of recovered people has reached 15,1,844, while active cases have increased to 9,335. Punjab and Sindh were the most affected by the virus.
In Sindh, 5,91,561 people were affected by coronavirus while 8,194 died. In Punjab, 5,15,306 people were affected while 13,590 lost their lives. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was the third largest province affected by the virus.

In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 2,21,727 people were affected by coronavirus while 6,331 died. In Islamabad, 1,37,747 people were affected by Corona while 1,028 died. Around 43,784 corona cases were reported in Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
At least 793 people died due to the virus in Azad Kashmir. In Balochistan, 35,834 people have been affected by coronavirus while 378 have lost their lives. In Gilgit-Baltistan, 11,925 people have been affected by coronavirus while 191 have died.
