Hollywood actor Tom Cruise has become the most expensive actor, for the film Top Gun, as he earned around Rs 23 billion.
The 60-year-old actor is not only the start of the Top Gun sequel but also serves as the film’s producer, earning him billions in acting fees as well as ticket sales and streaming revenue.
Tom Cruise’s Top Gun has become Paramount’s highest-grossing $1.2 billion worldwide, while on the other hand, it is Tom Cruise’s first film to do such big business.
Will Smith is second on the list of highest-paid Hollywood stars, according to Variety’s figures, with a deal worth Rs 8 billion.
Will Smith was signed to star in the $35 million action thriller Emancipation in June 2020, but after being delayed, the film will be released in 2023. Smith’s highest pay to date was for 2012’s Men in Black 3, which was $100 million.
It should be noted that Tom Cruise’s film Top Gun has also earned the honor of being the 12th film in history to cross the $600 million mark at the domestic box office.
