QUETTA: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has said that the armed forces are an important state institution and the pride of the nation.
According to details, a statement issued by the Pakistan Army Public Relations (ISPR) said that the prime minister visited Command and Staff College Quetta and laid flowers at the memorial to pay homage to the martyrs. Later, he addressed the officers participating in the Command and Staff Course.
Addressing the function on the occasion, the prime minister said that Pakistan’s armed forces are the guarantor of peace, internal and external security, and regional stability and are also playing their role in global peace efforts.
He paid rich tribute to the achievements and sacrifices of the Armed Forces and said that our achievements in the war against terrorism were unparalleled and were universally acknowledged.

Addressing the function, PM Shehbaz Sharif said that the armed forces have always done a commendable job in the service of the nation during natural calamities. The armed forces are a very important state institution and the pride of the nation. “The defense of the country is sacred, the security, sovereignty and integrity of Pakistan will be ensured in any case, the nation is indebted to the memorable sacrifices of its heroes,” he maintained.
Earlier, PM Shehbaz Sharif had given Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) the status of a special waiting agency, under which the appointment, appointment, and promotion of government officials would be done after scrutiny by the intelligence agency.
The prime minister has assigned to the ISI the responsibility of scrutinizing the appointment, promotion, and promotion of senior government officials. The move comes after the ISI was given the status of a special waiting agency.
