ISLAMABAD: The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) notified on Monday an increase of Rs27.1 per kilogramme in the price of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) for the month of March.
According to a notification issued by a regulatory body, the LPG prices have gone up by Rs27 per kilogram and it would now be sold out at Rs233.78 per kilogram.
As per new prices, the price of 11.8 kg domestic cylinder of LPG has been jacked up by Rs318.74. The new price of a domestic cylinder has been fixed at Rs 2,758.
Prime Minister Imran Khan, in an historic announcement, has announced slashing prices of petroleum products and electricity to provide massive relief to the people.
In his address to the nation, he said prices of petrol and diesel will be reduced by ten rupees per litre and electricity by five rupees per unit.

The Prime Minister also announced to award internship to all jobless graduates worth 30,000 rupees per month. He said 26,000 scholarships, costing 38 billion rupees will be given to students.
Imran Khan said he believes in an independent policy in the best interest of the people of Pakistan.
The Prime Minister said all IT companies and freelancers will be entitled to zero tax regime. He also announced to withdraw capital gain tax on IT startups.
