A protest of fishermen at Karachi port has entered its second day during which the movement of ships is still suspended.

According to details, the fishermen started protesting at Karachi port from 2 pm yesterday which lasted for more than 20 hours today. Protesters have demanded that they be allowed to fish in Balochistan.

The federal government is working to end the deadlock. Two rounds of talks with the protesting fishermen have been completed, but no progress has been made in resuming shipping.
