KARACHI: MBBS student of the People’s University of Medical and Health Sciences For Women (PUMHSW) Parveen Rind, who was allegedly harassed, has announced to stay barefoot till justice is served.
Parveen Rind reached Sindh High Court barefoot. Talking to the media on the occasion and said that Ghulam Mustafa Rajput has not been arrested yet, he is being supported, she claimed.
She said that there were three women in his room who entered, tortured Parveen, dragged her, and beat her in front of the whole university.
The incident took place at Shaheed Benazir University. Parveen Rind alleged that girls do not commit suicide in hostels, daughters of Sindh are beaten and given the color of suicide, they are hanged from fans, these people together kill these girls.
On the other hand, Sindh Governor Imran Ismail has directed Parveen Rind, House Officer, People’s Medical University, Shaheed Benazirabad to provide adequate and foolproof security.
Governor Sindh directed IG Sindh to provide details regarding media reports in this regard immediately.
