ISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi while giving a media briefing after the OIC meeting said that it is the responsibility of the whole world to help Afghanistan, Pakistan alone cannot do anything, therefore we hope that today’s extraordinary meeting will serve as a bridge in future.
He said that those nations which were against each other are sitting face to face today, everyone should know that if a permanent solution to the problem of Afghanistan is not found then the whole world will have to face its effects.
The Foreign Minister said that the only agenda of the conference was the people of Afghanistan. If the world does not take action for Afghanistan then human tragedy could arise. After which the OIC will contact the World Health Organization regarding the supply of the Corona vaccine in Afghanistan and it will also work with the United Nations to help Afghanistan.

Shah Mahmood Qureshi said that the entire world including the Muslim Ummah should realize how sensitive the situation in Afghanistan is so it is the common responsibility of the international community to improve the situation there.
He said that there may be differences in the Afghan administration but we, Therefore, the Afghan delegation was invited to attend today’s meeting to discuss the issues facing it, after which the international community’s dialogue with the Taliban government is an important step.
