ISLAMABAD: Federal Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed’s elder brother Lala Sheikh Rafique Qamar has passed away, which has been reported by the Home Minister himself.

In a message on Twitter, the interior minister lamented the death of his brother Lala Sheikh Rafiq Qamar and said that it was reported that his elder brother had passed away. Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed said that his elder brother’s funeral prayers will be offered today at 6 pm in the Kot Radha Kishan area of Kasur district.

Expressing deep sorrow and grief over the demise of his elder brother Lala Sheikh Rafiq Qamar, the federal minister for Home Affairs requested the people, political leaders, and friends to offer prayers for the high ranks of the deceased in paradise.

It may be recalled that earlier the famous Pakistani nuclear scientist Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan passed away. His funeral prayers were offered at 3:30 pm in Faisal Mosque, Islamabad.

Mohsin Pakistan Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan passed away on October 10, last month. The nuclear scientist’s condition worsened earlier that morning and he was shifted to KRL Hospital.
