LAHORE: An accountability court will resume hearing against former railway minister Khawaja Saad Rafique in the Paragon Housing Society scam case today.
A heavy group of police has been expanded around the court to prevent party workers from disturbing law and order situation during their appearance.

According to details, the accountability court judge Jawad-ul-Hassan will hear the case. National Accountability Bureau (NAB) will present Saad Rafique along with his brother Salman to the court as their judicial remand ended today.
According to details, Khawaja’s brothers signed an agreement with Paragon City regarding the sale of land worth over Rs393 million. On 17th April, the involvement of Khawaja Saad Rafique and his brother Khawaja Salman in the Paragon City was exposed.

The decision was taken in a regional board meeting that was attended by NAB Lahore’s director-general and other directors.
According to the handout, Qaiser Amin Butt, the director of Paragon Housing Society, was also included in the inquiry initiated by the NAB, and he was also arrested in November last year. Later, he agreed to turn approver against the Khawaja brothers and Zia.
