8mn Kashmiris have set eyes on OIC: FM

NEW YORK: Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has said that the eight million Muslims of Indian occupied Kashmir (IoK) have set their eyes on the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).

Talking to Saudi Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Adel al-Jubeir on sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly in New York, he said that OIC will have to continuously raise voice against the Indian atrocities being committed against Kashmiri Muslims.

Shah Mahmood Qureshi said that convening of the OIC Contact Group’s emergency meeting in Makkah after India’s illegal unilateral steps in occupied Kashmir on 5th August which drew the world’s attention to the Kashmir issue.
