27 brands of bottled water found unsafe to drink, NA informed

The Ministry of Science and Technology on Wednesday told the National Assembly (NA) that 27 brands of bottled water had been found unsafe for drinking.

In a report submitted to the NA, the ministry said that unhygienic water, branded as mineral water, was being sold in different cities of the country.

It has come to light that such water is being sold in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar, Multan, Sargodha, Sahiwal, Faisalabad, Quetta, Tando Jam, Gujranwala, Badin, Sialkot, Dera Ismael Khan, Bahawalpur, Mianwali, Muzaffarabad, Gilgit and Sukkur.

According to 24New HD report, these unhygienic water brands are: SS Water, One Pure Drinking Water, Indus, Sip Sip, Premium Drinking Water, Meeran Drinking Water, Pak Aqua, D-Nova, Jet Bottle Water, New, Elston, Pure Water, Dream Pure, Aqua Health, Marwi, Oz, Ice Well, AKB Sky, Hunza Water, Karakoram Spring Water, MOR Plus, Essentia, Premium Safa Purified Water, All Natural Pure Water and Life In.
