MANSEHRA: A bus transporting employees of Punjab University met with a tragic accident today when it fell into a deep gorge near Damgla. The incident occurred as the bus was returning from Naran, leaving 21 people injured.
Rescue 1122 Mansehra sprang into action immediately upon receiving the information. Emergency responders provided first aid to the injured at the scene before transporting them to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Balakot for initial treatment. Later, the injured were shifted to King Abdullah Teaching Hospital Mansehra for advanced medical care.
According to Rescue 1122 officials, all the injured are confirmed to be employees of Punjab University. Thanks to the timely intervention of the rescue teams, all victims were safely transported to the hospital without further complications.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation, and authorities are working to ensure the safety of travelers in the region.
