ISLAMABAD: The meeting of the National Assembly to discuss a 19-point agenda will be held today at 04:00 in the Parliament House.
The session will discuss the notices over gas load shedding and shortage in Punjab and Sindh. Pakistan Housing Authority Bill will also be considered in the assembly for legislation.
A bill to protect minority communities properties will also be presented by Federal Minister for Religious Affairs during the meeting.
Two bills, named the Whistleblower Protection and the Vigilance Bill. will also be reviewed during the meeting. The Public Service Commission rules bill and the Banks Naturalization Bill will also be presented today.
The first quarterly report of State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) 2019-20 on the domestic economy will also be presented in the session.
Earlier on 3rd January, the NA session over the bill of Army Amendment Act 2020 was postponed. Defence Minister Pervez Khan Khattak presented the bill of Army Amendment Act 2020 in the Senate, the Pakistan Air Force Act Amendment Bill 2020 and Pakistan Navy Amendment Bill 2020 in the House.
