14-year-old boy ‘gang-raped’ in Punjab’s Burewala

BUREWALA: A 14-year-old boy in Burewala city of Punjab was allegedly gang-raped by at least four men with the ordeal being filmed, according to the victim’s family.

According to details, the incident took place within the jurisdiction of Burewala Police Station. In this regard, the victim informed that the four accused forcibly took him out of the village.

The victim further informed that they took blindfolded him, after reaching at a spot, and sexually abused him overnight. “The accused even made a video that was later shared on various social media platforms,” he added.

The victim’s father has informed that they have filed an application to the district police, however, they were not taking any action in this regard. “The police have not yet registered the case,” he added.

The victim’s parents have appealed to Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Bazdar and other concerned authorities to take notice of the case and strictly punished the perpetrators.

Earlier on September 4, A 14-year-old mentally challenged boy has been sexually assaulted in the Dhok Hayat Khan area of ​​Gujjar Khan.

The medical report conducted in a hospital proved that teenager was sexually abused. The father of the victim named Mohammad Mursalin, a rickshaw driver by profession, said that his son is studying in a special education school as he is mentally handicapped.
