Ziauddin Hospital founder Dr Ejaz Fatima passes away

KARACHI: The mother of Pakistan People Party (PPP) leader Dr Asim Hussain and renowned gynaecologist Dr Ejaz Fatima passed away on Thursday after a protracted illness. She was 92

Dr Ejaz Fatima was the founder of Dr Ziauddin Hospital. She was undergoing treatment at Ziauddiin Hospital North Campus for the past several days.

Her funeral prayers will be held on Friday, May 28 at 1.30 PM at Ziauddin University Campus, Kathore Link Road.

She left behind two sons and two daughters. Dr Ejaz Fatima was younger daughter of Dr Ziauddin Ahmed. She was renowned gynaecologist who established Ziauddin Hospital in 1952.

PPP leaders Saeed Ghani, Raja Abdul Razzaq, Javed Nagori, Shehla Raza, Mirza Maqbool, Sardar Khan, Amanullah Mehsud, Zulfiqar Qaimkhani, Nadeem Bhutto, Asif Khan, Shakeel Chaudhry, Khalid Latif, Abid Satti, Naveed Bhatti and Latif Arain have offered their condolences and has prayed for deceased.
