Zardari invites JUI-F chief to attend Larkana rally on Dec 27

KARACHI: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Co-Chairman and former president Asif Ali Zardari has invited JUI-F Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman to attend a rally on 27th December on the death anniversary of his wife Benazir Bhutto.

The former president contacted JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman and invited him to attend a rally in Garhi Khuda Bakhsh on the occasion of the death anniversary of former prime minister Benazir Bhutto.

During the telephone conversation, the two leaders also discussed the overall political situation in the country. The contact came amid rumors of some differences between the PPP and other PDM parties over resignations.

Earlier, PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari had invited the entire PDM leadership to attend his mother’s death anniversary. The PML-N decided to respond positively to the invitation of PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari of inviting Maryam Nawaz to attend the Garhi Khuda Bakhsh rally.

Sources said that the top leadership of PML-N under the leadership of Maryam Nawaz will attend the 27th-anniversary gathering of Benazir Bhutto. In this regard, Maryam Nawaz will reach Karachi on 25th December i.e. tomorrow, from where she will leave for Larkana.
