LAHORE A session court on Tuesday ordered Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah, PML-N vice president Maryam Nawaz, IG Punjab and others to submit their responses in a case related to the Zaman Park operation.
On March 18, it may be recalled, Punjab Police had launched operation at Zaman Park residence of PTI Chairman Imran Khan and started arresting party workers at a time when PTI Chairman Imran Khan had left for Islamabad to appear in a court in Toshakhana case.

PTI had drawn attention of the High Court towards blatant violation of their orders and judgements, and demanded to guard their verdict, as the LHC had restrained authorities from taking action for a certain period.

The caretaker Punjab government and the Police had, on the other hand, had claimed that a ‘No Go’ area has been cleared today as a result of police operation conducted in Zaman Park.

In its case, the PTI had pleaded that police violated the home privacy during the raid in Zaman Park. The court was urged to pass orders for the registration of cases against the respondents.
Session Judge hearing PTI’s plea seeking registration of case against Maryam Nawaz, Rana Sanaullah, Punjab IGP, CCPO Lahore summoned a reply from Maryam Nawaz, Rana Sanaullah and others and adjourned further hearing of the case by March 24.
