Shehnaz, a resident of Upper Dir, has made a dramatic journey to Rawalpindi with the intention of marrying Imran Khan, the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and former Prime Minister, who is currently incarcerated.
In a video that has surfaced on social media, Shehnaz expressed her dedication to Imran Khan, stating that she traveled from Upper Dir specifically to be with him. She emphasized her commitment by saying, “I want to be with Imran Khan in jail,” referring to his current imprisonment.

Imran Khan has been detained in Adiala Jail for almost a year due to convictions in multiple cases, including two Toshakhana references, the cipher case, and the Iddat case, which also involves his wife, Bushra Bibi. Although his sentences for the Toshakhana cases were suspended and he was acquitted in the cipher and Iddat cases, the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) re-arrested the couple on new charges related to Toshakhana. This re-arrest has prolonged their detention despite the acquittals in other cases.
